Nena Anderson "Beyond The Lights"
Nena Anderson's debut album "Beyond The Lights" is already earning comparisons to early Lucinda Williams, Rickie Lee Jones and Bob Dylan with its accessible and deceptively uncomplicated lyrics and bluesy, Americana/ Alt. Montalban Quintet "Self-titled"
The Montalban Quintet is a collective of musicians that have infused interests from various musical barrios including post-punk, minimalism, jazz, 50's schmaltz, field recordings, and new western art music. We reside in San Diego and have birthed all of the recordings/collaborations at a small recording facility in Encinitas, CA known lovingly as the Belly of the Whale. Our past and/or simultaneous present musical endeavors include: Pinback, Boilermaker, Sleeping People, The Jade Shader, The Mattson 2, No Knife, Systems Officer, Tanner and more.

A self-described mix of "heavy-edged rock with an acoustic aftertaste," the band is comprised of Jay Huzil on guitar, John Salcido on bass, Mike Martinez on drums and is fronted by Ammee Pearl, who's vocal style has been described as both powerful and ethereal. Formed in 2009, Sweeteverafter has been actively writing and playing music in Southern California and just recently released their highly anticipated debut album, My Death. Their influences range from eclectic jazz, traditional folk and indie, to grunge and the new metal movements, and the band prides themselves on creating and honing a sound that they can call their own.

Billy Watson and the International Silver String Submarine Band is an improvisational, all-star cast of musicians, hand-picked from the California music scene. Since each member also works with their own bands, the "Cast" has been known to change often, adding mysterious excitement and spontaneity to every performance, while NEVER losing the highest of musical standards and professionalism.Ê Billy is an entertainer extraordinaire, capable of throwing down a blues show that can be infectiously hilarious and convincingly nasty. His energy as a frontman is relentless, his vocals inspiring, and his harp work musically outstanding.
